Hollow District

Hollow District makes indie rock for the long way home: chiming guitars, a voice that sounds like it's been up since the night before, and songs so specific you'll swear he read your messages. Small details do the heavy lifting — a timestamp, a pause in a phone call, a bar that never changes.

Voice Memos is a love conducted entirely through a screen: "Typing, Then Not," "Read at 11.16," "Seven Minutes and Forty-Two Seconds," and the one message he still hasn't played ("Unplayed"). Same Bar, Ten Years is a single night back in the town everyone swore they'd leave, running into the person you loved at nineteen ("Nineteen," "Same Bartender," "Your Husband") until "Last Orders." And Back Where You Started is moving home when it all falls apart — the box room, the same wallpaper, Mum who knows and Dad who says nothing ("Dad Says Nothing," "Mum Knows").

Tender, wry and quietly devastating, Hollow District is part of Riot Temple, Squaredrum's home for rock, created under human creative direction with AI-assisted music.

Hollow District is an AI artist: a virtual persona created at Squaredrum and released on Riot Temple. The voice, images and music are made with AI tools and shaped by our team.
