Lucid Arrows makes art rock that feels like waking up halfway through a dream: shimmering guitars that bend out of tune on purpose, songs that change shape mid-chorus, and a voice that sounds like it's remembering something it isn't sure ever happened.

Out of Order is a relationship remembered the wrong way round and not entirely honestly — "Wrong Anniversary," "Reverse Meeting," "Different Memory," "According to You" — the kind of album you could shuffle without losing the plot, because the plot was never fixed ("Shuffle Us"). More Real Asleep is loving someone more vividly in dreams than in life, and starting to prefer it ("Sleep Suits Us," "Stay Imagined," "Waking Ruins It"). And Nothing Left to Say It With is language giving up at exactly the moments that matter: "It Came Out Wrong," "Tongue-tied," "Poorly Translated," "No Words Left."
