Sadie Colton

Here's to the ones who left. Sadie Colton kept the boots, the acre and the better songs, and turned every goodbye into a reason to put on the good dress.

Already Winning is a breakup record with no tears in it. The exes get their exit ("His Last Excuse," "He Can Keep Dallas," "Unhitched," "My Boots Outlasted You"), the bills get paid by the fallout ("Your Loss Pays Rent," "Fence Money," "Mama Raised the Landlord"), and Friday nights are for going out ("Freshly Single Friday," "This Dress Says Otherwise," "Kiss Me Sober"). Underneath the swagger is a quieter idea of what love should look like next time ("I Bought My Flowers," "Love Looks Like Groceries," "My Own Acre").
