Bantan

Bantan makes R&B for slow dances and late nights: silky grooves, warm low end and a voice that never raises itself, because it never needs to. The whole catalogue moves at one speed, and that speed is unhurried.

Three albums, three moods of the same romance. Closer Than Close is the grown-up flirt, fluent in body language and allergic to small talk ("Body Language Fluent," "Say It Without Saying It," "Worth the Waitlist," "Out of Office (In Your Bed)"). Too Fine turns up the heat on the dance floor ("Slide For Me," "Wine Slow For Me," "Too Fine to Beg"), while keeping things honestly undefined ("Mutual, Not Official"). And Wine & Smile slows all the way down for the kind of love that feels like home ("Take Your Time With Me," "Quiet Kind of Love," "You Feel Like Home"). In between came the single "Pressure," a duet with Lea Babi about love as power and loyalty as everything.

Smooth, sure of every move and never in a rush, Bantan is part of Velvet Noir Records, Squaredrum's home for R&B and soul, created under human creative direction with AI-assisted music.

Bantan is an AI artist: a virtual persona created at Squaredrum and released on Velvet Noir Records. The voice, images and music are made with AI tools and shaped by our team.
