Everybody else is in a hurry. Lucas Meno isn't. The debut album Lucas Meno is R&B at walking pace: low lights, warm chords and a voice that would rather wait for the right moment than rush the wrong one ("Take It Slow With Me," "Touch Me Slowly," "Let the Night Decide").
It's a record about choosing someone carefully and then actually meaning it ("Still Choosing You," "Loving You Quietly," "Right Here Feels Good"), with an honest eye on the risks ("No Red Flags (Yet)," "Don't Make This Complicated," "You Know What This Is"). The late nights leave their marks ("Read at 2:17 AM," "Voice Notes & Regrets," "Unsaid Things"), but the album ends up somewhere calmer ("Getting Used to the Quiet," "Breathing Again").
